Paul Morgan, Chairman Paul is the Co-Founder of Axcess Air, a company established in 2021 with a mission to revolutionize private air service accessibility in the Mid-Atlantic region. Together with a team of seasoned business and aviation professionals, Paul spearheaded the acquisition of Moyer Aviation, a well- respected air taxi and maintenance provider based in Mt. Pocono, forming the Axcess Air aiming to make private air taxi services more accessible and environmentally friendly. Paul had previously enjoyed a successful career in the healthcare industry founding Sigma Imaging Technologies. Throughout his 25 years in Business Development and Account Management roles in healthcare, Paul also pursued a career as an airline pilot. Currently, he holds the distinguished position of captain on the Airbus 320 with JetBlue. | ![]()
Giovanni is an Account Manager with MedAire. His aviation career began in the military, where he deployed with a Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet squadron. He later joined MedAire, where he works to provide holistic medical and security risk management solutions for aircraft operators. He worked with a number of major charter and commercial clients around the globe before moving to the business aviation sector. A native of the Philadelphia area and a Penn State graduate, he is passionate about supporting the business aviation industry and its practitioners throughout the Delaware Valley Region. | ![]() Lee Rafalko, Treasurer Lee Rafalko is the Aviation Finance and Scheduling Manager for Corteva Agriscience based in Wilmington, DE. A graduate of Marywood University, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation Management and a Commercial Pilot License. He also holds a Dispatch Certificate through Universal Weather & Aviation. Lee has been a scheduler/dispatcher for various charter management and organ transplant companies before coming to DuPont and Corteva Agriscience. He serves on the NBAA Safety Committee as Operational Concerns Team Lead and in has received recognition as an NBAA Top 40 Under 40 professional. |
Kim Cifelli Lucas, Membership Kim Cifelli Lucas brings along diverse business aviation experience. Starting in air charter sales 40 years ago with a then unique concept in charter brokering called Direct Airway. That path took her to Teterboro then to a heliport in Weehawken. After a long sabbatical from the industry, Kim returned to corporate aviation in the billing department with Aircraft Services Group then moved closer to home at KTTN with Aviation Charters. Rounding out her miles, Kim is now with the QC Department at Jet East Corporate Aviation. | ![]()
Ronald Crosler is a FAA Certificated Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. He started his career in the United States Airforce in 1982. His career expands across Airline, Corporate and General Aviation. Because of his love and Passion for Aviation, Ron became a FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner/Technical Personnel Examiner (DME/TPE). He enjoys taking apart in bringing new FAA Certificated Airframe and Powerplant technicians into the Industry. Ron is currently the Quality Assurance Manager for multiple Dassault Aircraft Services facilities in New Castle Delaware, Teterboro New Jersey, Stuart Florida and St. Louis Missouri. | ![]()
Samantha Thresher launched her business aviation career at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) where she led the on-site marketing program for events across the globe. She worked on the founding of the NBAA Young Professionals and served as a council member until 2022. While at NBAA, Samantha obtained her Masters in International Commerce and Policy, focusing on expanding healthcare access for underserved populations. Samantha transitioned to Corporate Angel Network (CAN) and worked with flight departments across the country to expand their daily operations to help cancer patients access treatment. Samantha now works at Signature Aviation where she helps to lead the company's global community impact efforts. Through her work, she is able to couple her personal passion for positively impacting communities with her love of the aviation industry. In 2020, Samantha was recognized as one of the National Business Aviation’s Top 40 Under 40. |
Joan Szemplenski Joan brings over 35 years of aviation experience. She has worked for Part 121, 135 but mostly at 91 operations, which includes several Fortune 50 companies as an Aircraft Scheduler. She retired from Verizon’s Corporate Flight Department after 16 years of service. Joan holds a BS Degree in Business Administration from Concordia College, Bronxville, NY, and has her Private Pilot’s License. |
With 25 years of business aviation experience, Brittany is the Northeast Regional Director for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). The NBAA represents the diverse interests of companies using general aviation aircraft for business purposes, helping business aviation to thrive in the U.S. and around the world. Her career has spanned the scope of aviation including fixed base operations, charter scheduling/sales, hangar development, business development with aviation publications, flying as an aerial photography pilot, and running her own consulting firm. Her commitment to the business aviation community is marked by her involvement in grass-roots organizations throughout the years. She currently serves on a variety of boards and is a member of the International Aviation Women's Association and the Whirly Girls International Scholarship committees. Brittany was named as NBAA’s internal recipient of the Top 40 under 40 award in 2023. She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Aviation Technology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is a Multi-Instrument, Commercial rated pilot. |
